The CDC HOP Program in the Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences is hiring an Undergraduate Research Assistant! The HOP funds universities working with local cooperative extensions in mostly rural counties where 40% or more of adults have obesity. This funding supports local programs to improve access to fresh, healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity with the goal of reducing chronic diseases in 10 counties in the northeast, central, and southern part of North Carolina. This flexible part-time position will provide support for Drs. Virginia C. Stage and Basheerah Enahora , Assistant Professors and Extension Specialists. Duties may include, but are not limited to secondary data collection, assistance with focus groups, designing educational materials, conducting literature reviews, file management and organization, etc.
