Job Description

SENIOR HOUSEKEEPER, Endicott House, to organize and execute daily housekeeping duties and meeting the objective of ensuring clean, orderly, and attractive guestrooms and all public spaces. Will provide supervisor with cleaning supply and linen inventories and identify replacement stock needs; ensure standard security procedures are maintained, e.g., locking doors, securing guestrooms, providing access to storage, and key control; assist with training employees in operational procedures to meet or exceed guest expectations; conduct guestroom inspections prior to guest check in; and conduct follow up with housekeepers regarding service standards.

REQUIRED:  high school diploma or its equivalent; at least two years of relevant experience; housekeeping experience in a managerial role; strong guest services, communication, and organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to motivate and lead by example, work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and use good judgment; and English language fluency.  PREFERRED:  fluency in a second language.  Job #24051-4

Pay rate: $21.50 – 25.00 per hour, depending on education and relevant experience

The schedule is based on business needs and may include working evenings and weekends.
