Key Responsibilities:
- Observe, protect, patrol, and enforce safety regulations
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist visitors with directions and information
- Control access, monitor ingress/egress, and secure venues
- Handle keys, conduct walkthroughs, use radio communication, answer phones, monitor CCTV, and complete paperwork
- Report unusual circumstances and respond to emergencies
- Attend mandatory training sessions
- Stay informed about campus events to assist guests
Primary Location:
- Location: East and Main entrance gates, with training for other campus areas including Hesburgh Library, Main Building, Basilica, Snite Museum, and Raclin Murphy Museum of Art
Requirements:
- Availability to work up to 900 hours per year

Minimum Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and skills are required.
- Security monitors working at entrance gates cover shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, on weekdays and weekends.
- Availability to work home football game Saturdays, as well as Easter and Christmas holidays, is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong customer service and/or retail background is preferred.
