DESCRIPTION

The Chaperone Policy Program Manager assists in policy and program planning, development, administration, management, and implementation; interprets, monitors, and analyzes information regarding policies and procedures and provides consultative services to department administrators and other stakeholders. Uses advanced operational concepts and objectives to resolve highly complex issues. Regularly works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Primarily deals with programs and proposals with broad impact across the program and organization. Develops and oversees the implementation of new programs and processes.

The Chaperone Policy Program Manager will use analytical studies and subject matter expertise in support of University of California to continually develop and improve the ability to prevent, detect and respond to sexual violence and sexual harassment (SVSH) across all operations. Responsibilities include implementation of inpatient chaperone policy and patient education, ongoing management, and update of chaperone policy for ambulatory and inpatient areas. Selected candidate will coordinate and oversee initial and annual provider and chaperone training, monitor, analyze and report compliance with policy and training using internal data and UCSD audit and management advisory services, as well as provides consultative services to department leaders and other stakeholders. These same skills will be applied to additional projects, as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Nine years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five years of related experience/training.
  • Experience with policy development.
  • Experience developing training for variety of learners.
  • Experience building executive reports.
  • Experience collaborating with organization leaders and demonstrated interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with professional and technical staff.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • Ability to produce reports and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence functions and analytics.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-resolution skills.
  • Detail oriented, with demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in continuous quality improvement.
  • Experience reviewing Epic electronic records.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $82,500 - $151,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $39.51 - $72.56

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
