Job Description

This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Greenwich Drive and remote.

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Third-Party Application Support Engineer with experience in REACT to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing critical facilitation support for ongoing change processes and database audits of varying size and complexity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Yext Pages 2.0 CMS, managing backend databases, overseeing Google Business Profile and other online listings, and providing support for the Formstack and Trumba applications. This role involves schema coding, database management, and system optimization to ensure smooth operation and continual improvement of our web-based applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Application Support and Maintenance:

  • Maintain and optimize the Yext Pages 2.0 CMS (built in REACT).
  • Liaise with Yext support and technical teams to stay updated on new product releases and enhancements, ensuring that our database and processes leverage the latest technological advancements for optimal performance.
  • Perform updates, bug fixes, and implement new features as required.
  • Develop and refine data collection strategies, optimize methodologies, and establish data partnerships to enhance database utility and accuracy.
  • Provide support for the Formstack and Trumba applications, ensuring their seamless integration and operation.
  • Schema Coding, Frontend Scripting and Database Management:
  • Develop and maintain schema code and frontend scripting to enhance application functionality.
  • Provide critical facilitation support for ongoing change processes and conduct comprehensive database audits to manage complexities and ensure quality standards.
  • Ensure database security and compliance adhering with HIPAA data protection regulations.
  • Maintain related email correspondence and respond to status update requests.

System Optimization:

  • Operationalize and maintain the database by supporting robust processes for integrating new information and ensuring alignment with existing databases.
  • Implement processes for the consistent integration of new information into the Yext platform, ensuring seamless updates and accuracy in listings and search functionalities.
  • Regularly assess and optimize data workflows to ensure efficient data management and to facilitate the accurate synchronization of data across multiple sources and existing databases.

Find-a-Provider Database Management:

  • Maintain and optimize the Find-a-Provider database using the Yext application backend.
  • Conduct thorough audits of the current database and listings to identify discrepancies, outdated information, and opportunities for alignment with Yext's latest features and capabilities.

Google Business Profiles Management:

  • Monitor and report on the health and performance of the database, using Yext analytics and other relevant tools to track listing accuracy, visibility, and search performance.
  • Assist the Patient Experience team, who responds to customer reviews, resolving issues with Google Business profiles.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and content creators, to ensure seamless application support.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to internal departments as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and strategy discussions.
  • Maintain and manage communication channels, such as email correspondences related to status updates and change requests.
  • Foster understanding and integrate the objectives of change submitters, focusing on user experience, SEO, and other corporate goals that impact decision-making processes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three years of related experience/training. Related experience: Front-end web development experience.

  • Experience and proven success in fundamentals of design and user experience, including skill to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with REACT and modern JavaScript frameworks.

  • Experience in maintaining and optimizing CMS platforms, like Yext Pages 2.0 is a plus.

  • Experience in managing successful data projects, including dataset matching, database operations, maintenance or server-side scripting.

  • Experience with Google Business Profiles and the business citation ecosystem is a plus.

  • Familiarity with managing third party applications like Formstack and Trumba is a plus.

  • Demonstrated skills in fact-checking, information verification, and meticulous attention to detail, with a strong capability to compare and align different methodologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to leveraging data to drive strategic actions.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to remote working environments.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills.

  • Experience with other content management systems and web-based applications.

  • Experience in agile software development and regulatory risk environments is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $74,300 - $134,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $35.58 - $64.42

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
