Pay: $25/hr.
Schedule: 6am - 3pm or 7am - 4pm

Responsibilities:
  • Perform procurement activities to meet customer demand for products and materials in line with Vallen's purchasing strategies.
  • Review and approve inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations.
  • Assess orders for optimal delivery and take action to expedite or de-expedite as needed.
  • Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
  • Research and recommend vendors or items that meet customer specifications and standards.
  • Monitor product quality and timeliness; handle returns and replacements for damaged goods.
  • Negotiate and coordinate vendor returns for excess inventory and manage liquidation activities.
  • Follow up on purchase order status with vendors and communicate with customers.
  • Resolve issues related to timeliness and product quality with vendors.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
  • Resolve account payables nonconformance with suppliers.
  • Identify and document customer cost savings opportunities.
  • Produce KPI measurement data for customers.
Qualified candidates will have 2-4 years of related experience.
