Job Summary

The Michigan Clinical Research Unit (MCRU) is part of the Medical School Office of Research Clinical Trials Support Office; and is seeking an experienced, organized, professional candidate to provide administrative coordination support. This position will report directly to the MCRU managing director.

Responsibilities*

This position has MCRU department scheduling responsibility. The candidate should be familiar with scheduling practices and have the ability to work within timelines and available space to schedule research participant visits for the clinical research teams that we serve.

The candidate will be responsible for review and dissection of protocol events that will be required at MCRU visits and be able to collaborate with study teams to develop the reference tools needed for each participant visit. 

The candidate will be required to work in OnCore, including effort reporting as well as completion of MCRU task logs and other data entry.

The candidate will need administrative skills, including email correspondence with study teams, ability to schedule meetings, complete meeting Minutes, folder creation, document storage, etc.

This candidate will be considered the lead for MiChart orders and scheduling working with our study teams to assure completeness and correctness and will provide education and guidance as needed.

This candidate will serve as a process navigator relating to study start-up, amendments, revisions of reference tools and other documents, and will drive the internal processes for review and signoff.

Required Qualifications*

Five (5) or more years of recent research administrative experience which includes MiChart, scheduling, ability to read/dissect clinical research protocols, develop reference sheets for visits, knowledge of University systems such as eRRM and OnCore.

Desired Qualifications*

Clinical experience/background 

Experience working in a clinical research unit

Computer/typing skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel

Work Schedule

Hours: 40 hrs/wk 

Shift: Day shift M-F

Location: Remote
