Craven Community College is seeking to expand our pool of part-time faculty to teach Commercial Cleaning classes in the Workforce Development Department. Openings for these positions may not exist at the present time; however upon review of your qualifications, you may be contacted directly by the department on an as needed basis.

Supervises and trains students to prepare for entry level positions in the residential and commercial cleaning industry

This position requires flexible working hours; day, evening and possibly weekends

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
 

Ability to communicate with expertise on the operation and maintenance of equipment, chemical and non-chemical cleaning operations; sanitation, safety, and management of custodian businesses and services

Ability to teach a diverse population on general building custodial services; monitor, motivate and prepare students for entry into the work force upon successful completion of course

Ability to develop vocational education curriculum; accurately keep records and submit required documentation

Ability to use Microsoft Office Outlook and PowerPoint
