## Overview
Reflective Earth, a 501(c)(3), is a "verifier" of "reflection cooling credits" measured by satellite in megawatts reflected to space. Based on our measurements, philanthropists pay subsidies to support projects to increase Earth’s reflectivity and reduce global warming. As the Chief Communicator, you will play a pivotal role in driving impactful change.
## Responsibilities
- You will identify and contact every installer of reservoir covers or reflective coatings for asphalt in the English speaking world, including where English is a heavily used second language. You will identify and contact their major customers. When projects are identified, you will handle communications.
- When you are up to speed on relevant issues, you will direct and make decisions about upgrading our web site.
- When there is news worthy of publicity, you will publicize it.
- You will oversee fundraising communications to secure financial support for projects.
You will work regularly with the founder and occasionally with the atmospheric scientists. For the first 8 to 12 months, you will work from home. When you need an assistant, we will set up an office near I-90 where at least three of us will work regularly.
## Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ten years of communications work experience for businesses or non-profits after college. Start-up experience a plus. Willingness to take a lower salary to work for a non-profit to reduce global warming a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
