Job Description

Job Title- PT FACULTY-ADJUNCT MUSIC (Pool)

Position Status- Part Time

Classification Title- PT Adjunct Faculty/Lab Instructor

Work Location- Main Campus-3600 N. Garfield, Midland, TX

Job Summary-We are looking for a private voice instructor, private piano instructor, and piano accompanist. Teach credit Music course.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Music. With sufficient experience, a baccalaureate degree may be sufficient for private instruction.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional performance experience
Experience as an individual and collaborative performer
Studio or classroom experience as appropriate

Essential Functions

Teach in classroom and/or online
Manage classroom and meet deadlines

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift or move up to 20 pounds
Use of manual dexterity
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
Ability to effectively communicate with students, program chair and dean

Security Sensitivity- All Midland College positions are security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code §51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. An employment offer is contingent on completion of a satisfactory criminal background investigation.

Min Salary- $560.00 per lab hour

Max Salary- $825.00 per lecture hour
