Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain current inventory of all supplies and equipment.
2. Coordinate with the program director and other faculty as needed to develop a calendar that promotes the maximum use of the laboratory.
3. Develop and maintain a policy and procedure manual for the laboratory.
4. Inventory and organize expendable lab supplies on a regular basis and provide a list of needed supplies to the MLT program office in a timely manner to meet the needs of the program.
5. Inventory and organize equipment, technologies, and software for faculty and student access.
6. Coordinate with college maintenance services to maintain cleanliness of the lab.
7. Uphold quality and safety regulations of the lab and coordinate with appropriate biohazard and waste management vendors
8. Prepare laboratory equipment, supplies, and/or learning stations for faculty or student use.
9. Collaborate with faculty to determine needs to support curriculum design.
10. Collaborate with the Program Director, as well as other college and community representatives to organize partnerships for innovative arrangements for lab experiences throughout the year.
11. Assist with accreditation tasks.
12. Teach courses in the MLS program and related coursework.
13. Collaborate with the Program Director to provide lab tours to potential students for recruitment activities throughout the year.

Required Education:

1. A minimum of a Master’s degree qualification and licensure in CLS/MLS, or a related field.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and support students from diverse backgrounds.
3. Dedication to student success and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
4. Proficiency in utilizing instructional technologies and software to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and industry partners to promote program excellence and student achievement.
